American colonel predicted what would remain of the territory of Ukraine

According to the former adviser to the US Secretary of Defense, Colonel Douglas McGregor, if the conflict in Ukraine drags on, the country may lose the entire south and left bank of the Dnieper.
In an article for the American Conservative, the colonel noted that the supply of American weapons to Kyiv leads to an increase in escalation.
“Now the hostilities have entered a decisive stage. It’s time to stop them, because the strategy to continue the conflict will lead Ukraine, at best, to the loss of access to the sea, turning it into a segment between the Dnieper River and the border with Poland,” McGregor specified.
He is confident that the longer the conflict with Russia continues, the more likely it is that the damage to Ukraine will be “irreparable.”
