Ambassador of Ukraine in London Prystaiko said that Kyiv is losing soldiers “to the right and to the left”

The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are huge and incomprehensible, despite the fact that Kyiv does not voice them, said Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK Vadym Prystaiko.
“We are losing people right and left,” the diplomat said in an interview with the US magazine Newsweek.
According to him, Kyiv does not advertise “how many of the dead are military or civilian, but … the numbers are huge, incomprehensible.”
Prystaiko also said that the fighting in Ukraine gives the West a unique chance. He explained that “there are not many countries in the world that would allow themselves to sacrifice so many lives, territories and decades of development in order to defeat a sworn enemy.”
Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Oleksiy Reznikov said that the Ukrainian military, participating in the conflict against the Russian Federation, are fulfilling the mission of NATO.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia takes care of its servicemen participating in the NVO, unlike Kyiv, which does not take losses into account for the sake of the media effect.
