Ambassador Antonov called an easy solution to the conflict in Ukraine

According to Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov, the United States has the opportunity to easily and quickly reach a settlement of the armed conflict in Ukraine if it stops supplying military aid to Kyiv. The diplomat commented on the recent defense assistance package worth about $200 million provided by the United States to Ukraine.
White House Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said that the United States will not help Ukraine indefinitely.
Antonov noted that the United States continues to adhere to a forceful solution to the Ukrainian crisis and is trying to “exhaust and bleed Russia.” However, he stressed that the new aid package will not solve the problems set by Washington.
The diplomat also emphasized that the counteroffensive had failed, and the Kiev regime was in a difficult situation. Supplies from the West only delay the prospect of ending the violence.
Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin announced the allocation of a new package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $200 million. This package includes AIM-9M ammunition for the new air defense system that will soon be transferred to Ukraine, as well as artillery ammunition, anti-tank weapons and equipment to combat unmanned aerial vehicles.
Earlier, Russia sent a note to NATO countries over arms supplies to Ukraine.
