Almost every third Russian has passive income

Passive income is received by 29% of the inhabitants of Russia – most often from interest on bank deposits, renting out housing and investing in securities. On average, this income is 25 thousand rubles. per month. This is evidenced by the data survey services “Rabota.ru” and “SberLife Insurance”.
The survey was conducted in January of this year among economically active Russians over 18 years old. More than 5,000 users of Rabota.ru took part in it.
The study showed that 13% of respondents receive passive income from interest on bank deposits, 9% from renting real estate, 6% invest in securities and 4% receive funds from the transfer of money in trust management (you could choose more than one answer) .
32% of the surveyed men and 28% of women have additional passive income. For men, the most common way to get it is by renting out housing (12%), for women – interest on bank deposits (15%). 7% of men and 5% of women invest in securities. 12% of the surveyed men receive passive income from bank deposits. 8% of female respondents receive funds from real estate rent.
For males, the average passive income is approximately 30 thousand rubles, for females – 18 thousand rubles. The maximum additional income is received by those who rent out real estate (41 thousand rubles).
Approximately 30% of respondents spend money from passive income in addition to their main income, 26% of respondents continue to invest, 25% form a financial airbag, 23% save for large purchases.
11% of survey participants save up passive income for vacations or to buy a home, 6% – for repairs. 8% of respondents spend these funds on health and medical services. 4% of respondents said that passive income is the main one for them.
Previously, the Rabota.ru service figured out, which professions became the highest paid in January. They were a dentist, surveyor and barber, as well as an architect, chef and dermatologist-cosmetologist.
