Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev admitted the possibility of holding a meeting in Tbilisi to normalize relations with Armenia. He announced this during a press conference with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili.
“If there is such an agreement, representatives of our relevant structures can come to Georgia for a bilateral or trilateral meeting,” the Azerbaijani president said.
On September 19, Baku began a military operation on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. As a result of these actions, a ceasefire agreement was reached. In turn, Karabakh reported that the republic would cease to exist on January 1, 2024.
