Aleynik: the current global food crisis is man-made
[ad_1]
The global food crisis is not systemic. It began due to the introduction of sanctions against Russia and a number of other states. This opinion was expressed today at a discussion within the framework of the UN General Assembly session by the head of the Belarusian delegation, Foreign Minister Sergei Aleynik.
He recalled that sanctions impose restrictions not only on grain, but also on fertilizers. And this is precisely what most developing countries need. Thus, restrictions, Aleynik believes, artificially create a shortage, and the global food crisis is only a consequence. According to the Belarusian diplomat, it is easy to solve the problem. You just need to remove all restrictions.
Aleynik recalled that there is enough food in the world for everyone who lives on Earth. But often developing countries go hungry. This contradiction is the result of the impact of sanctions.
