A cameraman for the Al Jazeera TV channel was killed during an Israeli military strike on a school in the city of Khan Yunis in the south of the Gaza Strip, RIA Novosti reports, citing a statement from the TV channel.
The strike reportedly took place on Friday. There were civilians in the school building, among them was a cameraman named Samer Abu Daka. The report says that the man did not die immediately, but only 5 hours after being wounded, while the Israeli military did not allow doctors and ambulances to provide assistance to the wounded man.
The channel in its statement condemned the actions of the Israeli army and called on the international community and the International Criminal Court (ICC) to take action against the Israeli government for committing crimes against humanity.
