The head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that the peninsula “intensifies the work to attract volunteers” to participate in a special operation in Ukraine. Aksyonov announced such work the day before, after the call of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov to the regions “self-mobilize”.
According to Aksyonov, “several large banking structures” deal with financial issues as part of this work – they purchase equipment from extrabudgetary sources.
“This work has already been put on stream,” Aksyonov said.
He added that the sooner the special operation is completed, the better for everyone, and “there are resources, there is an understanding of how to do it, there are a lot of people who want it.”
