The completion of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine will be only the first step towards the further demilitarization of Ukraine. This country is unlikely to exist within the 1991 borders. This opinion was expressed on the air of the Millet channel by the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov.
As Aksyonov noted, probably, we will talk about the complete elimination of Ukrainian statehood. What remains after the capitulation of Kyiv, according to the head of the Crimea, will be “taken into circulation by NATO countries.”
Aksyonov believes that the North Atlantic Alliance will not give up its aggressive policy towards Russia. On the territories remaining under the control of the West, an entity hostile to Russia will be formed. The West will try to strengthen its borders and continue to create problems for Russia.
The head of Crimea stressed that Russia needs to be careful and work to prevent the emergence of a new enemy at its borders.
