Aksyonov and Kadyrov topped the rating of patriotic governors

“The rating of patriotism of governors in the period of the NVO” undertook to be compiled in “Fair Russia”. For the rating, 15 criteria have been developed, including the public and personal position of the head of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation regarding the special operation, the adoption of regional laws on measures to support family members of military personnel, assistance to refugees, the provision of humanitarian assistance, etc.

Diligent governors in the Just Russia assessment system received a maximum of three points for success in each of these areas, in total they could receive 31 points. Sergei Aksenov (Crimea), Ramzan Kadyrov (Chechnya), Oleg Nikolaev (Chuvashia) and Alexander Beglov (St. Petersburg) scored the same number.

The leaders of seven regions lagged behind them a little, having scored about 30 points: Kaluga, Irkutsk, Oryol, Belgorod, Bryansk, Rostov regions and Moscow. Outsiders in the ranking were also 11, and among them, for example, the leaders of the Jewish Autonomous Region, the Republic of Mari El, Sverdlovsk and Tomsk regions. The list is completed by the head of the Smolensk region Alexei Ostrovsky (LDPR) – he scored only seven points.

A Just Russia co-chairman Zakhar Prilepin told Vedomosti that he was not going to ask to consider the rating when making official personnel decisions, but expressed hope for the attention of Staraya Ploshchad. Right Russian leader Sergei Mironov told reporters that the party does not have the authority to reward or punish governors. “We operate with public opinion,” he concluded.

Political scientist Alexander Nemtsev notes that this is only a “political move of the Right-wing Russians”: “The assessment is given without scientific analytics.” Political scientist Konstantin Kalachev noted that the rating has a place for the subjective views of Prilepin and Mironov. The leading positions are occupied by “sacred figures”, the expert believes. Political scientist Ilya Grashchenkov pointed to the subjectivity of the “freak rating”, which does not threaten the governors in any way.

The leader of the “list of patriots” Kadyrov, meanwhile, in his Telegram channel called for the “self-mobilization” of the regions. “The head of each subject of Russia today must prove his readiness to help the state. And this assistance should not be expressed in verbal speeches,” the message says. After that, Aksyonov in his Telegram channel said that “Crimea has already fielded more than 1,200 volunteers and is forming two more battalions. We fully provide them with equipment, means of protection, communications and intelligence.” The head of Mari El, Yuri Zaitsev, and the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, liked the idea of ​​training volunteers.

Presenting his rating, Mironov said that on the initiative of the faction, the Council of the State Duma on September 19 will consider the issue of inviting Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to the chamber for a speech. True, Andrei Isaev, deputy chairman of the United Russia faction, told Vedomosti that he was not aware that the party was discussing the invitation to Shoigu. The first deputy chairman of the faction, Dmitry Vyatkin, answered a question from Vedomosti that the speaker of the State Duma “said everything” about this at the plenary session.

Viacheslav Volodin previously spoke about the need to hold any discussion of the special operation behind closed doors. However, one of Vedomosti’s interlocutors at this stage considers the likelihood of Shoigu being distracted for discussions in parliament, even in this format, extremely unlikely.
