Air defense systems (air defense) successfully hit all targets over the Crimea, the head of the peninsula Sergey Aksyonov said in his Telegram channel.
Initially, Aksyonov reported on the operation of the air defense system in the Western Crimea. “Target hit. There were no casualties or damage. Our military clearly, professionally and efficiently carry out their tasks,” wrote head of the republic.
Two hours later, he stated that the air defense systems “successfully hit all targets over the Crimea.”
On Saturday morning in Sevastopol was shot down drone, Governor Mikhail Razvozzhaev reported. The UAV fell on the roof of the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet, no one was injured.
On August 16, a transformer substation caught fire after a series of explosions near the village of Maiskoye, Dzhankoy District, Crimea. Aksenov reported that the cause of the fire was the detonation of ammunition, but later the Russian Ministry of Defense explained explosions at a military warehouse sabotage. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case into the incident. The explosion damaged a military warehouse, as well as power lines, a power plant, railway tracks and several residential buildings.
On the morning of July 31, the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol was attacked by a drone, six people were injured. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 30 and pp. “a”, “e” art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder of two or more persons in a generally dangerous way) after the explosion of a drone on the territory of the headquarters.
