Airborne special forces will receive a batch of MTs-566 sniper rifles

The Central Design and Research Bureau of Sports and Hunting Weapons (part of Rostec) has released a batch of the latest MTs-566 self-loading sniper rifles, which will go into service with the special forces of the Airborne Forces.
As RIA Novosti clarifies, the first MTs-566 were transferred to volunteer units at the end of March 2022, this weapon showed its effectiveness on the battlefield in the North Military District zone. Particular attention is paid to optical and thermal imaging systems specifically designed for these rifles, which makes them extremely accurate and effective at various distances.
