Air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian drone over the Trubchevsky district of the Bryansk region. About it reported in his Telegram channel, the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz.
“An attempt by Ukrainian terrorists to carry out an attack using a UAV was stopped. <...>. There were no casualties or damage. <...> Thanks to our air defense units,” said the head of the region.
He noted that the destroyed drone was an airplane-type model. Emergency services are currently working at the scene of the incident.
Attempted attack also confirmed at the Russian Ministry of Defense. It was stopped at 23:30 Moscow time on October 2, the ministry said in a statement.
On September 30, Ukrainian troops attacked Trubchevsk in the Bryansk region with a drone. They dropped a bomb on civilians from a UAV, Bogomaz said earlier. One person was slightly injured as a result of the impact.
On the same day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the village of Gorozhanka and the village of Pogar. No one was injured as a result of these incidents.
