The Russian air defense forces of the Baltic Fleet are preparing to conduct exercises to repel a missile and air strike of a mock enemy on Kaliningrad and the region. This was reported by the press service of the Baltic Fleet.

The air defense forces of the fleet will use the Pantsir-S1 and S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems. They will have to work out the tasks of detecting and destroying aircraft, helicopters, missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles of a mock enemy.

As soon as the air defense systems receive signals about the appearance of missiles or aircraft in the air, they will have to classify and destroy the targets. Also, the air defense missile systems will make a covert march to the training ground for firing practice.
