A series of explosions sounded in the Khmelnitsky and Vinnitsa regions of Ukraine
Sirens howled on the night of August 6 in Kyiv, as well as Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kirovograd, Cherkasy, Vinnitsa and Khmelnytsky regions of Ukraine. The announcement of an air alert in these territories is confirmed by the data of the online maps of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
According to the latest Ukrainian media reports, several cruise missiles were seen in the sky in the Kiev region. In the Rivne region, they saw flying drones “Geran-2”.
Also, Ukrainian Telegram channels reported a series of explosions in Khmelnitsky and Vinnitsa regions. At least 12 arrivals were recorded at the Starokonstantinov airfield in the Khmelnitsky region. An Air Force base is stationed there. Su-24 armed with Franco-British long-range Storm Shadow missiles take off from it.
According to the latest data, the Starokonstantinov airfield was hit again. Eyewitnesses report incessant detonation. They assume that this time the main target was ammunition depots.
