Airline «Aeroflot” will increase the salaries of production personnel, including pilots, said the general director of the carrier, Sergei Aleksandrovsky, in an interview with Vedomosti.
“We are planning a large-scale increase in the wages of production personnel, including pilots, despite the fact that we are not in the most favorable conditions. The flight hour rate for pilots will increase by 25% – and this is significant,” the top manager said.
The indexation will affect the department of ground support for transportation – employees serving passengers at check-in counters, the departments of aviation security management, planning and management of production activities, the technical unit and other divisions. “The increase will affect almost 90% of Aeroflot’s staff, the salary increase for production units will be up to 20%,” the top manager added.
According to him, the salary of flight attendants has been significantly revised and brought to the level of the market in 2021. Today, the company is also working on non-material and material non-monetary compensation, such as expanding the VHI package.
“We want to keep our staff and create conditions for attracting new qualified employees,” Aleksandrovsky said.
