“I see you have a sign behind you: “Food of the Future,” Vladimir Putin noted. “Somewhere we have partners abroad, when they talk about the food of the future, they all show some kind of moths, worms,” the president said. “And for you, all this leads to work in the field of confectionery production, bakery products,” he added.
During a tour of the greenhouses of the Stavropol region, the President showed greenhouses for growing tomatoes, a prototype robot for collecting vegetables, as well as distribution and sorting workshops. The factory workers fed him soup, meat with buckwheat, vitamin salad and compote.
