The possibility of returning permission to fly drones used by agricultural producers at an altitude of up to 150 m is being discussed with the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. informed in an interview with RIA Novosti, Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko.

“There are certain restrictions on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in a number of regions. Here, the discussion is being held with the Ministry of Transport – the flight height of agricultural drones is not more than 150 m, ”she specified.

If an agreement is reached with the Ministry of Transport, agricultural producers will be able to continue using drones, Abramchenko added. In her opinion, the authorities will be able to find a compromise solution.

Most of the regions introduced a ban on the use of drones in October 2022, when Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the establishment of different levels of response in the subjects – from the level of basic readiness to martial law. An exception was made for public authorities and law enforcement agencies.

Several other entities have introduced a similar ban against the backdrop of attacks Kremlin from Ukraine using a drone in early May. In particular, restrictions began to operate in Moscow and the Moscow region.
