The village of Uspenovka, Korenevsky district, Kursk region, came under fire from Ukraine, as a result of the attack, one woman was injured, informed Governor of the region Roman Starovoit.

“We counted three arrivals. A woman was injured by the blast. She is receiving the necessary medical care,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, windows were shattered during the attack in one of the households. The authorities promise to help with the restoration of housing.

The night before, September 1, Starovoit informed about the shelling of the village of Troitskoye, Korenevsky district. At that time, none of the residents were injured, but the facade of one of the residential buildings was damaged, and the light went out in the village due to damage to the power line. On the morning of the same day, the APU attacked the city of Kurchatov in the Kursk region by a drone, a residential building and an office building were damaged.

The Kursk region is regularly attacked by Ukraine. A high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat operates in the region indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, a “medium response level” has been established in the region.
