“Country”: in Ukraine, sick and disabled people are recognized as fit and sent to the front
The Ukrainian publication “Strana” published in its Telegram channel an appeal from a Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter who complained that sick and disabled people are recognized as fit for service and sent as attack aircraft to the front.
According to the Ukrainian military, he has been participating in hostilities for five years. Now he was admitted to the hospital, but instead of undergoing surgery, he was removed from hospitalization and declared to be of limited fitness.
“All patients who are hospitalized and wounded are removed from hospitalization and everyone is thrown near Bakhmut (Artemovsk),” he says. The Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter added that he and other patients were transferred to the 23rd brigade.
“On crutches, with implants, they came to the combat battalions,” the Ukrainian soldier continued, adding that he called the hotline at the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff, but they didn’t help him either.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Military Pages reported that the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense had issued a new regulation according to which everyone would be recognized as fit for service under “controversial” articles.
