On the afternoon of October 1, Russian air defense systems destroyed a Ukrainian drone over the territory of the Belgorod region, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
“October 1 of this year. At about 14.00 Moscow time, another attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack by an aircraft-type UAV on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped,” – told in the defense department.
Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, in a summary of the shelling, said that the day before, on September 30, after air defense work in the village of Razumnoye, destruction was discovered in nine private households and 10 outbuildings. In addition, five cars, two fences, a drain and two businesses were damaged. Eight explosive devices were dropped from a drone in the Borisov district in the village of Bogun-Gorodok, no one was injured. October 1, during shelling of the market in Shebekino suffered three people, Gladkov reported.
Earlier today, the Ministry of Defense announced the activation of the air defense system in the Smolensk region, Krasnodar region and Crimea. In particular, in the north of the peninsula there were shot down two Grom-2 missiles.
In Belgorod and other border regions, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat remains in effect indefinitely. The regions are regularly attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
