A TDT-55 tracked skidding tractor with a 57 mm AZP-57 automatic anti-aircraft gun of the S-60 anti-aircraft artillery complex was spotted in the area of a special military operation. Photos of unusual military equipment were published by a telegram channel “Artillery”.
It is clarified that such special equipment was allegedly used by assault troops.
AZP-57 is a 57mm single-barrel automatic cannon developed in the mid-1940s. It is used as part of the Soviet S-60 anti-aircraft artillery complex. It became the first Soviet anti-aircraft field gun that could be aimed remotely.
To transfer the gun from the traveling position to the firing position, the crew takes from three to five minutes, and back – from six to seven.
