In the United States, there was a third rail accident after a resonant disaster on February 3 of a freight train with chemicals in Ohio and on February 21 in Nebraska, where a coal train derailed.
This time, according to the 10 Tampa Bay channel, five wagons derailed in the Bradenton area of Florida. Among them were two tanks carrying propane.
Authorities claim that there were no casualties during the incident, and no spill of hazardous substances was recorded.
However, the railway tracks were significantly damaged, and the wheel sets were torn off from the overturned cars.
