Only 7% of companies take care of the health of employees comprehensively and correctly, reported during conferences “Kommersant” head of the all-Russian project “Corporate Welfare” Ivan Rybakov with reference to Medscan data. According to him, 27% of employees say that they experience pain at work every day, 58% of workers say that they are in a state of chronic fatigue.

According to Mr. Rybakov, comprehensive and correct work with the health of employees is one that is carried out according to the system that underlies public health: “primary, secondary and tertiary interventions.” Primary is sanitary and hygienic education. Secondary is medical examinations and check-ups. Tertiary – aimed at treatment and rehabilitation. According to the expert, the first two stages can be implemented “in the workplace.” At the same time, the growth of the employee well-being index, according to him, is directly reflected in the increase in the company’s profits.

Ivan Rybakov also provided other figures:

  • 90% of workers eat incorrectly;
  • 20% of workers complain about the ergonomics of the workplace;
  • 47.3% of employees have one or more chronic diseases.

Last week, at an HR forum organized by Kommersant, Anna Nikulina, operating director of the online psychotherapy service Yasno, told45% of employers reported an increase in employee burnout in 2023. Burnout was the reason for voluntary resignations for every fourth employee.
