A terrorist attack against a member of the administration was prevented in the Zaporozhye region

The FSB of Russia announced the prevention of a terrorist attack against a member of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, write “RIA Novosti” with reference to the statement.
“Officers of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Zaporozhye region, together with employees of the Higher Educational Institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Zaporozhye region, detained a citizen of Ukraine who was planning to commit a terrorist attack against an employee of the administration of the Zaporozhye region,” the report says.
The detainee was coordinated and supplied, according to the department, by employees of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. During the searches, they found “a cache with explosives and other components for the manufacture of an improvised explosive device.” A criminal case was initiated against the Ukrainian under Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist act).
June 19 at the FSB also reported on the suppression of terrorist attacks against the leaders of the military-civilian administration of the Zaporozhye region. It was clarified that the attacks were planned not only against the authorities, but also against law enforcement officers. The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is called as the organizers.
