The Russian Aerospace Forces successfully launched a Soyuz-2.1v carrier rocket from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region. This is stated in a message distributed by the Ministry of Defense of the country.
On board the Soyuz are two military satellites. The spacecraft have been assigned serial numbers Cosmos-2561 and Cosmos-2562. They were successfully launched into orbit.
A week ago, on October 15, the Angara-1.2 rocket with a spacecraft on board was also launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the interests of the Ministry of Defense.
