On the morning of Tuesday, October 18, an air alert was announced over the entire territory of Ukraine. It is reported that strikes were carried out on a number of major cities in the country.
So as a result of two blows was disabled an energy infrastructure facility in the Dnieper (Dnepropetrovsk). This was announced by the deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
In turn, the mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, reported two series of explosions in the city. He noted that the blows fell on one of the industrial districts of the city. It is also reported that the movement of metro trains has been suspended in Kharkiv.
In addition, strikes were reported on Krivoy Rog and Nikolaev, and power supply was disrupted in these cities. Attacks on energy infrastructure facilities were also carried out in Zhytomyr.
Later came reports of attacks on Kyiv. The nature of the damage has not yet been reported.
