A protest over Russia took place at the US Embassy in Sofia

A protest action related to the Russian Federation took place at the US Embassy in Sofia, RT reports.

As noted, the protesters expressed dissatisfaction with drawing Bulgaria into a confrontation with Russia. Among the slogans they put forward: “We don’t need the American government!”, “Take away your puppets!”, “Hands off our history!”

Those who came to the US embassy also called for a reduction in the American military contingent in Bulgaria. The protesters’ statements said that Washington “is ready to fight against the Russian Federation not only to the last Ukrainian, but also to the last Bulgarian.”

The Americans were also accused of encouraging neo-Nazis and destroying monuments associated with the Red Army.

“Why don’t you want us as a people to live according to our conscience as the homeland of the Slavic-Orthodox Cyrillic civilization,” Nako Stefanov, chairman of the Bulgarian National Peace Council, addressed the embassy.
