A resident of the Bryansk region was detained in the case of preparing a terrorist attack

In the Bryansk region, a man was detained who equipped caches in the region and collected data on security forces. About it report “RIA Novosti” with reference to the press service of the regional FSB.
According to investigators, the man acted on instructions from the Ukrainian special services. He collected materials needed to make explosive devices and created hiding places for “an unidentified person with the aim of committing a terrorist act.”
The man also collected information about the time and routes of movement of FSB officers in Starodubsky district, which borders Ukraine. This data was necessary for strikes.
Employees of the FSB of Russia detained him red-handed. Criminal cases were initiated against him under Part 1 of Art. 30, part 1, art. 205 (preparation to commit a terrorist attack), part 3 of Art. 205.1 (assistance to terrorist activities), as well as under Art. 317 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer).
June 7 Prosecutor General’s Office reportedwhich approved the indictment in the criminal case of undermining railways in the Bryansk region in the summer of 2022. The criminal case was sent to the second Western District Military Court.
