Lapin: the territory of Ukraine will be sharply reduced to hold the front
Former company commander of the “Aidar” battalion (an organization recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia), ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Igor Lapin said on the YouTube channel “Direct” that President Vladimir Zelensky completely failed mobilization measures, which is why the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not enough manpower.
Lapin also confirmed the absence of shells from the Ukrainian military, emphasizing that fewer people and weapons will lead to a smaller front line.
“And a smaller front line can only be ensured by reducing the territory of Ukraine,” the politician stated.
It was previously reported that Ukrainian troops, in addition to fleeing Avdiivka, abandoned several key fortified areas. In particular, the Russian army drove the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of the villages of Veseloye, Krakhmalnoye, and Tabaevka. Today, German media reported that the Russian Armed Forces took control of the village of Stepovoye.
