Every fourth candidate makes a decision on employment, focusing on the ratings of companies. Such data from the X5Group study was published by Maria Vernomudrova, Director of Employer Brand Development at the HR forumorganized by Kommersant Publishing House. According to her, the place of the company in the ratings is of the greatest importance for candidates in the field of IT.

According to the research, a high position of a company in the rating is an indicator of stability, concern for the image, and also reflects the level of employee loyalty for a candidate. “The company’s high position in the rating is certainly an image factor. 25% of candidates rely on ratings when choosing a job. Depending on your hiring funnel, this number will mean different things: when you are recruiting tens of thousands of people every month, this is a lot, for companies with a small size, ratings will not have much impact. However, candidates will perceive a company that participates in the rankings and ranks well there as an organization that is recommended by its own employees. In this case, the impact of the ratings is quite significant,” said Mrs. Vernomudrova.

Research participants also believe that in a company that is part of a group or holding, their work will be more stable, opportunities for growth and long-term planning will expand. With an equivalent offer from an independent company, almost half of the office staff and IT specialists will prefer to work in the holding. “People working in the holding plan their careers for five years or more. This is another advantage that we can talk about, ”the expert concluded.
