The Meshchansky Court of Moscow received a protocol drawn up in relation to the TV-3 channel under Part 2 of Art. 6.21.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (dissemination among minors of information demonstrating non-traditional sexual relations or capable of causing minors to desire to change their sex), follows from file cabinets. A court date has not yet been set.
TV-3 is a Russian federal TV channel focused on showing feature films, documentaries and series of mystical, fantasy and adventure themes. The channel started broadcasting in 1994. It is part of the Gazprom-Media holding.
Also today, June 20, was registered an administrative case for mislabeling LGBT content in relation to the Kinopoisk service (owned by Yandex). In total, according to Roskomnadzor, 19 protocols were drawn up against video services for LGBT content. In particular, on June 21, the Meshchansky Court will consider the protocol for the Premier online cinema.
Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Alexander Khinshtein (United Russia) reported that since December 2022, when the law banning LGBT propaganda came into force, there have been drawn up 33 minutes for demonstration and promotion of non-traditional sexual relations.
