A new head of the State Special Communications Service has been appointed in Ukraine

Ukraine has appointed a new head of the state service for special communications and information protection. It was Yuri Mironenko, government representative in the Ukrainian parliament Taras Melnichuk said in his telegram channel.
“Appointed: Yuri Nikolaevich Mironenko as Chairman of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine,” he said
The former head of the service, Yuri Shchigol, and his deputy, Viktor Zhora, were fired on November 20. Criminal cases were initiated against them for embezzlement of budget money in the amount of about $1.7 million.
