A man was killed during the shelling of a village in the Belgorod region

The village of Urazovo, Valuisky urban district, came under shelling from Ukraine, as a result, a man died, two more people were injured and are in serious condition, informed Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

According to the head of the region, the village was shelled from a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), one shell hit a private residential building. One man died from shrapnel wounds. Two more people were injured during the attack, Gladkov said.

“The man has shrapnel wounds to the chest, the woman has shrapnel wounds to the shoulder, face, neck and back. They were taken by ambulances to the central district hospital, all the necessary assistance is being provided. Doctors assess their condition as serious,” the governor wrote on his Telegram channel.

About 20 households were damaged by rocket ammunition, operational and emergency services are working at the attack site, Gladkov added.

On August 26, as a result of shelling from Ukraine, died civilian. The authorities reported that then the village of Shchetinovka came under attack – the Armed Forces of Ukraine dropped an explosive device from a drone when the man was at his summer cottage and mowed the grass.

On the same day, the governor reported on the shelling of the village of Urazovo from the “Grad”. Cluster munitions hit private homes and the territory of an agricultural store, injuring six people.

The Belgorod region and other border areas are subjected to regular shelling by Ukraine. A high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat operates in the region indefinitely. Also, since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the region.
