In the Sakhalin region, a man was detained on suspicion of treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), informs the border department of the FSB in the Sakhalin region.
As noted, officers of the border department of the FSB of the Russian Federation in the Sakhalin region, together with the FSB of the Russian Federation in the region, detained a Russian who was going to leave for the territory of Ukraine and join one of the military armed formations in order to participate in hostilities against the Russian Armed Forces.
According to the press service, the man was going to leave for Ukraine in transit through the territory of a third country.
A criminal case has been initiated against a Russian citizen under part 1 of article 30, article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code, the press service of the department added.
