Carrying a load is his “dog job”. Grenades and horns with cartridges are “loaded to the fullest” on the Bandit in order to unload the fighters. The dog also helps the military with an overnight stay – it can smell strangers a mile away, and its barking can warn of danger. Still, the infantrymen say, he is a true friend. When his owner came under fire and was treated for a month and a half, the Bandit patiently waited for the return of the military. “They said that he began to fade.
