A draft law on the appointment of mayoral elections was submitted to the Moscow City Duma

Commission for organizing the work of the Moscow City Duma contributed to the regional parliament a bill on setting the date for the election of the mayor of the capital.
According to the draft resolution, the elections are proposed to be scheduled on a single voting day – September 10. The decision to call elections must be made no earlier than 100 days and no later than 90 days before voting day.
Chairman of the Moscow City Electoral Committee Olga Kirillova earlier in an interview with RIA Novosti toldthat you need to be prepared for attempts to discredit the course and results of the election campaign for the election of the mayor.

State Duma Deputy Dmitry Gusev will participate in the elections from A Just Russia, and Deputy Boris Chernyshov will participate from the Liberal Democratic Party. On May 19, Kommersant reported that the current mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, would run for a new term as a candidate from the United Russia party, and not as a self-nominated candidate, as in the last elections.
