Citizen of Ukraine Grigory Sinchenko will be tried for more than 40 crimes, Sputnik reports with reference to the Southern District Military Court.
Sinchenko is reportedly accused of espionage, sabotage and more than 40 other crimes. He committed his criminal acts on the territory of the DPR.
The report says that the first time this citizen was detained back in 2016, he fell under suspicion because of his possible participation in undermining trade stalls and power lines.
Subsequently, the investigators established that Sinchenko himself made explosive devices and carried out explosions, and his goal was to extort money from businessmen.
After his arrest, he was sent to Ukraine as part of a prisoner exchange, but he later returned to the DPR and resumed his criminal activities. In 2020, he was once again detained and has been under investigation since then.
