Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) carried out an attack on New York, which is under the control of Kyiv in the Donetsk region. This is reported by a Telegram channel called “War correspondents of the Russian Spring” (RusVesna).
In the village, previously known as Novgorodskoye until 2021, a concentration of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was noticed. These military formations were attacked by RBK-500 type aerial bombs.

On April 1, British military expert Alexander Merkouris said that the Russian Armed Forces launched the most powerful air strike in the entire history of a special military operation against the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
