Volunteer and journalist from France Adrian Boke, who covered the events in the territory of Donbass, sent the necessary documents to obtain a Russian passport. He explained to TASS that he did this in order to protect himself and his daughter.
“I applied for citizenship because I feel safe in Russia and would like the same for my daughter,” he said.
According to him, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation confirmed that they received an application for citizenship.
Recall that Boke used to work as an expert on NATO weapons in the DPR. He was one of the first Western experts to say that the events in Bucha are a provocation on the part of the Ukrainian military. For this position, he was prosecuted in France and almost died during an assassination attempt by Ukrainian nationalists in Istanbul.
