NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg urged the NATO states not to underestimate Moscow. He also believes that it is necessary to prepare for a prolonged conflict in Ukraine. Stoltenberg made such statements during a press conference in the Netherlands, where he met with representatives of the country’s foreign ministry.
The NATO Secretary General believes that the Russian Federation has strong armed forces and capabilities, including a large number of military personnel. In addition, the Russian army demonstrates the will and determination to win. The next months, he said, “will be tough.”
Stoltenberg, as stated in a message on the official website of NATO, called for continued support for Kyiv: both financial and military. These are the supplies of fuel, medicines and air defense equipment.
The Netherlands, as it became known during this meeting, will allocate 25 million euros to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
