Telegram founder Pavel Durov said in his channel that hackers can get full access to all data on users’ phones due to security problems in WhatsApp.
“Hackers can access information stored on the phone due to a security issue that WhatsApp itself exposed last week. In order to gain control over the gadget, attackers need to start a video call with the user or send him a malicious video,” Durov said in his Telegram channel.
According to him, this is not the first time WhatsApp has encountered such a problem. This suggests the prospect of new security flaws.
