Ukraine demanded more Patriot air defense systems from the West

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that Kyiv needs supplies of new Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM). He said this in an interview with Politico.
“Give us the damn Patriots. If we had enough air defense systems, namely Patriots, we could protect not only the lives of our people, but also our economy from destruction,” Kuleba said.
He noted that the Ukrainian armed forces are losing ground due to the fact that Russia has begun to massively use modernized aircraft guided bombs, and the West is not providing new Patriot systems.
Earlier, Kuleba noted that Ukraine’s Western partners want the country to continue to fight “with its hand tied behind its back.”
