The missile threat in the Kursk and Belgorod regions has been canceled
The missile threat has been lifted in the Kursk and Belgorod regions, RIA Novosti reports.
Residents of the Kursk region were warned about the missile danger in the region; information about the threat was duplicated by Governor Roman Starovoyt in his Telegram channel. He reported on the launch of a public warning system and also recalled precautionary measures in the event of a missile threat. Some Kursk telegram channels posted videos with the sounds of clapping over the region. Then the Belgorod mayor’s office warned residents of the city and the Belgorod region about the threat of missile danger.
Let us remind you that on February 15, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled Belgorod. Based on this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under the article “Terrorist Act”. As a result of the incident, according to the Ministry of Health, seven people died and 19 received various injuries. Several victims were transported to Moscow for treatment.
Two of the nine victims are in serious condition, said the regional governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov. According to him, two people are in intensive care on ventilators. The condition of the remaining seven victims, Gladkov wrote, is assessed as moderate and stable.
“They are all in wards in the departments of traumatology, surgery and otorhinolaryngology. All the victims underwent the necessary surgical interventions, assistance is being provided, everyone is under round-the-clock supervision by specialists in various fields,” the governor of the Belgorod region wrote in his Telegram channel.
