New deputy minister appointed to Defense Ministry

Russian Deputy Defense Minister Dmitry Bulgakov has been relieved of his post, the press service of the Defense Ministry said. Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev will take his place.
“Army General Dmitry Bulgakov was relieved of the post of Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation in connection with the transfer to another job,” told in the department.
Mizintsev, as deputy head of the Ministry of Defense, will be responsible for the logistics of the Russian Armed Forces. Previously, he worked as the head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, the ministry noted.
