The European Commission (EC) intends to propose the introduction of additional restrictions on the export of technology to Russia. This was during a briefing in Brussels, said the official representative of the European Commission, Eric Mamer.
He clarified that the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, gave a number of clarifications regarding anti-Russian sanctions. The European Union intends to consider restrictions against Russian individuals and organizations.
“She also announced that additional export controls on civilian technologies will be introduced for deliveries to Russia from the EU,” Mamer said.
At the same time, the representative of the EC did not specify whether it was about the next, seventh package of sanctions, or about additions to the previously adopted sixth.
