The top 10 Russian regions, where the need for workers has increased significantly as of October of this year, included: Ingushetia (94.1%), St. Petersburg (69.1%), Perm Territory (67%), the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania (66.4%) and Tyva (61.4%), Moscow (52.2%) and Sakhalin (51.3%) regions, Nenets Autonomous Okrug (35.9%), Tambov region (35.2%) , as well as the Altai Republic (34.8%).
By the end of October, experts had documented an acute shortage of blue-collar jobs in Russia, such as machine operators, welders and product assemblers. According to analysts, the increase in import substitution, as well as the growth of state defense orders, had a significant impact on the change in demand for personnel.
