Stoltenberg: things could get even worse for Ukraine

For Ukraine, the current difficult situation may be further aggravated due to a shortage of supplies from Western countries, says NATO Secretary General Jens Stotenberg. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
In an interview with the German television channel Das Erste, Stoltenberg called for “preparing for bad news.”
Conflicts develop in stages. But we must support Ukraine in both bad and good times,” he lamented.
The NATO Secretary General also admitted that the alliance was unable to give the Kyiv regime as much as it needed, especially in the matter of supplies of ammunition. According to him, the situation has become critical for Ukraine, but decisions must be made by the military-political leadership of Ukraine and its people.
Earlier, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, expressed the opinion that the situation at the front is “a dead end” and said that he does not particularly count on a breakthrough. According to him, according to “NATO textbooks,” the Ukrainian army was supposed to “fight” on the territory of Crimea. Advisor to the head of the office of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Mikhail Podolyak, also expressed doubts about his country’s ability to withstand the conflict with Russia. He also noted that the determining factors in the conflict will be the ratio of resources of the opposing sides, stocks of weapons and the timing of their possible use in battles.
