Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, in the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” on the TV channel “Russia 1” raised the issue of the impact of sanctions on relations between the Russian Federation and China.
“Certainly, there are a lot of complicating factors,” he said, adding that the threat of secondary sanctions certainly has its negative impact.
“But they are not able to somehow significantly influence,” Peskov said, assessing the development of relations between Russia and China.
The head of the Kremlin press service stressed that the overall trend “is still with a plus sign in terms of growth.” Peskov also stated that there was a significant jump in trade between Russia and China.
“It’s great,” Peskov added.
