Islamic teachers from Iran may appear in Russian universities

Iran, together with Russian universities, is working on long-term Islamic education programs. Teachers from Iran can be involved in the programs. This was announced by the head of the Organization for Culture and Islamic Relations of Iran Muhammad Mehdi Imanipur.
“We are currently working on the issue with St. Petersburg University on how to organize teaching on a long-term basis with our teachers. Similar programs are possible with other universities. We are also ready to provide students with grants for studying at Russian universities, and in Russia for studying at Iranian ones,” Muhammad Mehdi Imanipur told RIA Novosti.
According to him, teachers from Iran are now teaching short-term courses on Islam in Russia in Moscow, St. Petersburg and cities in southern Russia, among the long-term programs there is only Persian. Muhammad Mehdi Imanipur added that the southern regions of Russia are applying for the teaching of Islam by Iranian specialists.
The 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions was held yesterday in Nur-Sultan. The event was attended by over 100 delegations from 51 countries, including the head of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis. Congress delegates urged to the rejection of any wars.
